Research for starting up after school care

Hello Lovely ladies.

Before I had my baby I worked in Childcare... I worked in a nursery for four years and then moved on to Nannying. Now James is getting a bit bigger I have looked into work options and the obvious thing for me to do would be to do Childminding. I am really interested in starting up some kind of After school provision as I am very close to the primary school, and this would leave ,my days free for my baby still.

What sort of things would you look for in an after school club for your child?

I know that the school do run a club but it is based at the school and they do not provide dinner for the children. I thought that some parents may prefer for their child to be away from the school setting after being there all day and would be lovely to know that their child would be provided with a cooked meal.

Anyway.... anyone done this before and can give me some pointers that would be great, Or mums / Dads that tell me what they would want from out of school care would be fab.

Thanks, Katie. x
