| secret smokers (Canada)
Hi everyone,
I'm a reporter at the Toronto Star and I'm working on a feature about secret smokers for our Living section. Basically the piece is meant to be about people who smoke only in private, hoping their colleagues and/or friends and/or family won't find out.
Smoking cessation experts and doctors tell me it is much more difficult to quit when nobody knows you smoke because you don't have a support system. It is perhaps an unintentional side effect to how anti-smoking society has become, at large.
Are there any Canadian moms on here who smoke (or have recently quit) and tried to hide it from the kids? I wouldn't necessarily have to use your full name in my piece, but your stories would be incredibly helpful.
