- 19 when she was born
2. How would you describe motherhood as a teenager?
- It's fine, lol.. I don't know motherhood in any other way? I get a lot of help from my parents and OH's parents and I have lots of friends interested in the baby, I'm not sure if it would be just like this if I was older and all my friends were having babies and getting married. It is a bit hard, emotionally at times for me, as I don't live with my partner yet. Financially things are fine. I don't get treated differently than any other mother when I go out.. sometimes sales ladies tell me about sales and stuff, upcoming and show me things on the clearance tables I might like which is a bonus for me when they ask if I'm shopping for my own.
3. What difficulties did you face?
- It is hard not living with my partner (her father). It's stressful doing it "on my own", aside from a couple hours in the evening. But I know we're doing this for a reason (to save money so that we can buy a house together)... so I'm hanging in there. |
