Midwives- A womans best friend? - Page 2

My midwife was the same every week, i attended a clinic for the first 1 or 2, but at 14 weeks i joined a young mums group run by a midwife. she was brilliant, she handled my care up until i had my daughter, she even came to my house and examined me twice so i didnt make an unessesary journey the hospital! she was brilliant! i still see her now, and im going to be TTC soon so i hope i can see her through my next pregnancy too!

I had two diffrent comunity MW with my first both always seemed a little bit rushed and i never knew who i was going too see, it would have been nicer to have a more personal experiance but they never remberd me even tho i seen them every two weeks! Hopefully this time will be diffrent as we have a small Midwife led mat unit so im hoping for a more personal time this time round!

The one i saw with holly and robyn was rubbish sfe always forgot wen babys were due and even all the blood tests i was suppose to have

The midwife who i had with sam was really good she always had time for me and was always ringin to make sure we were ok she even came to the hospital the day i had sam and delieved him even tho it was her day off

she also live in the same vilage so we always run into each other and stop for a chat
