Feeding my baby

Hi ladies,

My baby at the moment is 4 weeks old, she was born at 33 weeks. She has been on nutriprem formula about a week now. When taking breast milk she was feeding every 4hrs. At the moment with the forumula she's waking 3hrs - 3.5 hrs. She wont take anymore than the 90mils/3oz, should I put her on heavier formula to get her to the 4hrs or should I just feed her every 3hrs - 3.5hrs?

Thanks

Personally I'd go for feeding her more often. There isn't really a "heavier" formula than NP (are you getting that on prescription? not sure of the rules in Ireland, it's prescription in GB). If she were breastfeeding and suddenly started wanting to feed every 3 hours, you'd accommodate her - it's no different on formula.
