Just wanted to suggest, you might get more support from people if you create your own thread in the Premature Babies section, as I'm here for you, and will listen to you and relay my own experiences and / or advise or just support and hugs, but there are others on this forum, who have been through things just like what you are going through and who know more about the experience of having a premmie in the SCBU than I do, who might have been through exactly what you are going through right now, and will be able to offer hope that it can all get better with time and even when things seem completely dire there is always hope - and that is what you need to cling on to.

One little girl that I know of, had a really tough time following her premature birth, but is doing really well now, and at one year old is currently enjoying a holiday in Majorca! (http://www.charlottelow.com/diary.ph...ws_RS_diary=21 - Ali's little girl) Please stay positive. I'm sending big hugs and prayers your little girls way, that things will start to improve soon. x

Question

Well as of this morning there still running test. Her heart rate has come down to 197 to 211. That's not a great improvement but, it's some. Which gives me a bit of comfort. Yet her temperature is 37.8 so that's not a great thing and at sometime in the night it reached 39. Her blood pressure is 44 at times and they would like to see it down between 26 to 35. The ultrasound of her heart has come back and it all appears normal. One side of her chest collapsed which I don't really understand still have to talk to the doctor about that. Her gases are better than what they were. They've taken more blood to test guess I'll just have to wait for the results.

I'm really sorry but I don't know much about any of the things you've described - I'm no doctor and Anna never had any of these complications...

A lot of the updates you have posted seem positive, though - lots of little improvements - Heart rate lowering, ultrasound normal, gases improving... Your little princess is a right fighter!

Like I say, if you make a thread for your little girl in Premature Babies, you might be able to get some answers or advise on things that I don't know much about, from mum's of premmies who might know more about it all...

Good luck, and do keep us updated x
