preterm labour advise please

posted in 2nd tri but thought i mite get some responce here
just had a phone call someone i know is in labour shes 22 weeks has been bleeding on & off but scan shows baby is alive n ok i could only give what i know from having a 27 weeker n labour at 24 i know if she actually delivers baby has no chance i was given a drip to stop contractions but that was 16 yrs ago what can be done now???

Hi, im not sure i can be of much help here but didnt want to read and run. I know with some women they can do a cervical stitch but i dont know how exactly that works or what the circumstances needs to be to have that. Also i know they dont consider babies viable until 24 weeks and from what iv read any babies delivered before are considered a late miscarriage

seems the contractions werent aatually doing anything apart from cause pain n have calmed down for now hopefully she'll hang on a bit longer
