Hire or Purchase TENS Machine ?

Which do you think is best ? I was planing on hiring one from Tesco for £28 for 6 weeks but now I have been having really bad hip and backache (which i think is spd) I have been advised I can use a tens machine to help relieve the pain so that means I need to get one now.

Do you think its worth buying one then selling it on ebay after or just hiring it ?

I'm not sure, but i think the ones you use for labour seem to have a higher frequency than the ones you use for normal pain relief and are safe to use in pregnancy ( i was looking at labour ones the other day and all said DO NOT USE IF PREGNANT AND BEFORE 37 WEEKS!!!).

Maybe buy one that is definitely good for both uses and keep it in good condition. Not sure how they resell on though.

Might be worth asking if your hospital lends them out free of charge to expectant mothers. I've just collected mine from the physiotherapy department. Was told that it's more powerful than those you can buy, and it's free.

Ive hired the same one. You can buy them from amazon for £57 free p&p and then they sell on ebay for about £40.
