in first pregnancies its from 30 weeks, later pregnancies they dont ever increase it to every 2 weeks unless they need to monitor you for something like having babies earlier or pre eclampsia etc

the care sheet i was given for first time or multi pregnancys said from 31 weeks...

ive seen mw more often due to being high risk.. i think mw will tailor to yr needs for example if you have had a uti they like to see you more frequent just to test your urine!

i am saw the midwife at 34 weeks and seeing her again at 38 weeks. so no clue. I reckon I wont be at the next one as I will have the LO already.

I think according to NICE guidelines for first time mums you should see your MW at 28, 31, 34, 36, 38, 40 and 41 if necessary. But it does vary from one area to another but in the UK that's what you're entitled to, so if you are being seen less than that you can complain.

My MW only works at my GP surgery one day a fortnight, so I see her slightly off schedule rather than to the day, but that doesn't matter. What will be interesting is who I see if I go to 41 weeks... Hmm.

Thanks girls , I had my ob appointment today and I have to go back in two weeks , my next appointment is Feb 26th I think its because I normally only stay pregnant up to 34 or 35 weeks , everything was good at my appointment today though .
