Any suggestions?

Ok so on saturday it will be a month exactly until due date and i'm dying to meet my lil girl and see what she looks like but the wait is making me anxious and have the "i can't do this" freak out doubt in my head.
Being a first time mum i'm obsessing on reading up about everything how babies sleep, eat, routines, everything and it's suddenly dawning on me i am going to be a mum and this little defensless clueless bundle is going to rely on me to look after her, take care of her and introduce her into a big wide world that is totally unknown to her.

Time to take action as this worry is making me hormonal impatient and a little bit tetchy and i just lay in bed all day watching ITV from GMTV - jeremy kyle - this morning to loose women its getting very boring and predictable now and probably not helping being such a zombie until OH gets home so thinking of printing off all the days of the month that are left and scheduling things to do and allocating time in the day to do things like tv time from ... - ... and house work .... - .... maybe try and go for a walk every day want to start reading a new book to distract me something i can really get into also need to catch up on my pregnancy scrapbooking i haven't done any for a shockingly long time. lol

Just wondering if anyone else has any suggestions on things i can do to put in my calendar to fill my days to eventually fill this last dreaded month.

Thankyoooooou xxxxxxxx

Katie, we're in our final box!!!!!!!!! yay!!!

I'm in the same boat as you, and so far am being really selfish and planning lots of beauty treatments....a preg massage, pedicure (as i can't reach there any more), getting my hair coloured and cut (it looks awful right now!), i've bought a stack of trashy novels to read and am working my way through that, going for a walk each day to keep my hips working plus bouncing on my birth ball ( i'd like to have her around 37 or 38 weeks if i had a choice, so pushing her towards the exit!).
Also planning a beauty night with my best friend, so we can give eachother facials etc, plus have arranged most days to meet SOMEONE for a coffee, whether it's a friend, my mum, or even just sitting on my own to read the papers.

Oooohh, and lots of long baths!!

gets me out of the house - otherwise i end up spending my whole day watching tv with my lap top on my lap, and feel i've done nothing all day.

Thanks for replies Kaylynn - my knees are out of cast and feeling a lot better now had my first physiotherapy appointment yesterday and she's given me alot of exercises to do to get it stronger me and OH used to go swimming every sunday before my knee went again so we're going to start again this sunday as physios given it the all clear.

Good idea i used to feel million times better after being swimming even just being in the water without doing anything too strenous is soooo nice having that weightless supported feeling like someones temporary taken my bump off me lol. can't wait.

Kate - Sooo excited to be in the last box seems like a decade ago we were in the little tadpole boxes lol Definitely going to get stuck into some trashy novels with lots of cheesy romantic stories and bonking in lol funny enough i decided instead of being a bed bug to do facial and have a nice long bath shaving and spending time on everything and i've just finished doing all my creaming up shea butter on my stretchies and bio oil on my belly i am one slathered up big mamma!!! So am now going to start on the housework joys. Lol

copied this from dippy dees post that i replied to you in there - I feel exactly the same kate can't wait for this 10 days to be over i'm desperate to meet her and see what she looks like will also by trying anything i can although saying that me and OH eat alot of tikka curry its his favourite and we've been very HUBBA HUBBA DING DONG in the baby dance department, weird was a total drought first and second sem and now i'm massive and in the most uncomfortable phase i can't control my raging hormones so i guess being imune with those two what does that leave?? Pinapple and.....

Great idea about the yoga will probably help buildup the muscle wastage in my peggy knee too woooo feeling alot more positive now thanks ladies as usual

I have got a list of what I want to do housework wise each day, that way I have calm in my head and I know what I will need to get done!!! I spread my "jobs" out thru the week!!!
I also do my exercise each day, ok it's only 25 mins a day now but I have to do them!!!

I make sure a couple of times a week I meet up with friends too or they come to me for lunch. sometimes me and DH meet up for lunch and sit in his car with a fresh baguette!!!

I try and sit down for a bit each day too and once I have done my "spring" clean I'm gonna allow for a coupla hours in bed each day...Gonna be knackered soon!!
