Not sure why you're excited about a c-section hun! Did they find out if there were any reasons why your baby might be breech before doing the ECV? Did they explain why it failed afterwards? Did you discuss other options?

Did you know that there is still time for your baby to turn on its own? Around 12% of babies that are breech at 37 weeks will turn on their own before labour.

Also there are other methods you can try to encourage bubs to move. Good posture, use of a birthing ball, gently rocking your hips regularly, kneeling on all fours and leaning over the back of a chair are all good positions and movements that can help.

There is also evidence to suggest that acupuncture, reflexology and hypnotherapy can turn a breech baby.

Also, breech babies can be delivered by a competent MW.

HTH xx

Oh so thats what it means god I so stupid, yeah Holly right you still have plenty of timeto getthe baby to turn so I wouldnt be jumping straight into the section idea jsut yet, I know babies htat have waited till the mother half way through labour before all of a suden dseciding to turn and make there entrance, it can happen at anytime and my frind baby was born breech (naturally) she said it was a little bit harder work but a s labour supposed to be hard work she didnt mind, she said it wasnt painful it was just hard work. (and thats why its called labour and not agony, as it is a hard graft aka labour)
