Question about early contractions

Does anyone know if they feel anything like braxton hicks mixed with what feels like a stitch?

I dunno if I've been getting early contractions or just more intense braxtons, but it feels like when you get a stitch, but it seems to move down the bump, IYKWIM? Anyone got any ideas?

They felt like period cramps to me. They tend to reach a peak and then start to fade off again. In my head they were like biking up a big hill, it's really hard and painful at the top and then biking down the other side again.

Yeah mine were like Vic described, more of an achey period pain at first, then they slowly increased to the point where there was a peak.

Maybe its just the intensity of your BH increasing, ive hear they can do that towards the end

Mine are quite painful now and I'm a bit crampy. This baby is trying to trick me I think!

Mine were exactly like described above but I had very few early contractions the later ones were basically the same but with a sort of stabbing across the bottom of my bump. The feeling of riding a bike up a hill is a really good way to describe it!

I have had 3 times now this pain on my bump , right from the top to the middle and aching at the bottom. I dont know if thats contractions as them times it went on for hours then stopped again. Doc in the hospital did say it was practise though. But I thought braxton hicks where not suppose to hurt? this near had me puking.

Mine were definitely like braxton hicks with bad period pains that get worse than faded off.

I didnt even know i was having contractions i just thought they were pains

It's kinda like that, but the peak of it only seems to affect the very bottom of my bump. It starts off like a braxton, then gets a bit sharper towards the bottom, then trails off. I've been having them on and off since early this morning but they haven't been frequent and they don't last long.

Do you reckon it's anything worth keeping an eye on, or am I just being extremely optimistic!
