Cloth Nappy Help

Right im keen to use these but am pretty clueless as to where to start.

Few things id like to know is:-

How many would i need i.e for a newborn? do i increase the sizes?

Do i just by the cloth nappies themselves or do i need inserts?

Any simple info would be greatly appreciated

go for the bummis starter kit, if you can find one. There's enough diapers for about 3 days as well as a instruction manuel. It's only $165 CAD. , which isn't bad for 30+ diapers, a couple of cute diaper covers and some inserts.

The ones that have the best reviews are the bun genius 3.0 they do not require covers and have snaps that adjust from nb to toddler size. All the moms that use them say the are great and no leaking (other then the explosions that NO diaper can contain). They are a bit more then the others though. They come with two microfiber inserts that you use with them (which is VERY absorbent) and with any reusable diaper they recommend using a biodegradable sheet so that when baby poops you just put that sheet out and flush it.

If you are going to use both disposable and reusable then you maybe need 8-10 reusable. But if you are using reusable only then you need maybe 18-24.

I would do an online search on the brands and what moms have to say about them.
