well i have lost some of my plug this morning - at least i assume that's what it was - gooey with a pinkish streak (blood)....have had irregular contractions and period type aches on and off for the past couple of days that did become a little worse last night....then wore off when i went to bed!

Could the show mean things are progressing/that something will happen soon? My mum lost hers with all three of us and went into labour within 24 hrs, but i never has a show with my first.....so i don't know?

What do ya reckon ladies - am due in 4 days.

i'd say your pretty close hun, i been losing my plug for a few weeks, another last saturday, and then a very bloody one yesterday. they dont do anything till the contractions start, i went in to hosp yesterday as my show really red blood, mw told me its the sticky out bit of your cervix drawing back and dilating breaking the vessels, kind of like when youve had a sweep.
when the contractions start getting stronger and regular you'll know for certain.
anyday now,
i'm just waiting for contractions now all i get are really strong braxtons

I think losing some or all of ur plug can only be a good sign that labour is on its way, and even better than you only have 4 days 2 go!
I lost my plug with both my first 2 babies while i was actually in labour and they were both tinged with blood
So good luck and i hope things pogress nicely from here for you...!

Hun i lost mine last night or atleast some of it and getting all these pains since last sunday so my bodys getting ready.
With my 2yr old i lost my plug and she was born 3 days later so good luck
