| Baby is breech Baby was head down when we were at the hosp sun/mon but has since turned to being back where he was at my 28 week app.
I know theres still time for him to turn head down but i just have this niggling feeling that he isn't going to, I can't explain it.
Anyone else had late turners??? | | | | Status: Offline

| If it makes you feel better I asked my best mate who is a midwife and she says breech births are beautiful and better if its mums second baby. It is not more painful apparantly just a little harder for a first time mum to stretch as the head comes after the body which is smaller..... I bet baby will turn though.. Dont worry | | | | Status: Offline

| Thanks girls, he still has time and i am hoping he will, if not then we'll cross that bridge when it comes to it, i just worry not for me but for bonding and breastfeeding - i loved being able to hold lilly first time and give her a feed etc.
I dont think my hospital let you give birth breech to be honest i wouldn't fancy it as i had quite a bad tear and an episiotomy with lil but we shall see. Next midwife app is this wednesday coming so will speak to her to see what she thinks too | | | | Status: Offline

| There is still lots of time for him to turn. You can encourage him into a good position by sitting on a gym ball or spending time on all fours, gravity will do lots of the hard work! You can also try acupuncture to turn a late turner in the last few weeks. Then if it really comes to it they can turn the baby manually, though many babies turned that way turn back again
Ask your hospital about breech deliveries as they ought to have the option available to you. You do NOT have to agree to a c-section as long as there are other options and a good midwife is perfectly capable of delivering a breech baby. | | | | Status: Offline
