Hi, can anyone please help? I am 38 weeks today and woke up at 3 am with a sore tummy. At first I thought it was maybe wind cos I had a bit of an upset stomach last night. Anyway, the pains started to get worse and I was timing them and they were coming roughly every ten minutes, lasting about 2 minutes each. I now have diarrhoea and am wondering if that is causing my sore tummy or if it is labour that is causing it? This is my 2nd child. Would appreciate any feedback. Have had sore back too and just can't get comfy. Not slept at all since 3 am as just wasn't possible. Have mw at 11.30 this morning but just wondered what anyone else thought? Thanks

Sounds like labour to me, you can have diaorrhea prior to or when in labour. Id be phoning the labour ward before going to the MW.

i would contact ur labour ward/mw hun and see what they sa they will prob take u in for monitoring ect
