rant .... sorry!

why do ppl insist on thinking they know best? i have shown my friends my 4d scan pics today and everyone has to have an opinion and think they know better then me. all i have heard today is....'its definately a boy'....'its definately a girl'....'everyone is late with their first'....'your gonna be early' ......'your huge its definately a 9lber'. how the hell do they know!!!

also my brother in law has a very immature sense of humour and thinks it is funny to call baby alien all the time as with all babies at the beginning of pregnancy they have quite a big head esp with our 12 week scan. but this is all he ever says and it is getting me down, it is a baby...our baby not an alien.

sorry for the rant but when i keep telling my dh he just says to ignore it but its not that easy!

I get the " your going to go over due with your first" thanks like thats really what i bloody well want to hear ! I dont know if they mean best but i have bump pics on my bebo and everyone says the same bloody thing! i dont mind them guessing the sex because not even i know that one. But why tell a heavly pregnant women she will go over due, I know this anyway it could happen. i am well aware of it just dont remind me. Pretend and say thigs like any day now etc

I got the whole "your going to be late" and "your baby is going to be late 7's early 8lbs"

Pee off she came a day early and was 6lb 13oz lol.

It seems some people think once youve had a baby you all of a sudden become an expert

i dont often rant on here...dh usually get it

but it just really got to me today. i was off ill from work on tues as i have a water infection, i got told from my friend today to stop worrying and the reason i was off is because i was worrying about baby and not cause i didnt feel well..wtf! its nice to know they know me better than i know myself!!

honest now rant over x

i feel the same chick, i get that all the time. the other week it was my step dad and uncle arguing over weather it was a gal or a boy lol... i felt like shouting out "im still here! talk to me" lol but u just have to ignore them and smile lol. dont get me started on the "with your first you go over thing lol" im late now and everyone keeps telling me lol...

just ignore them hun

My brother also calls baby an alien cos of scan photos..he has no children so he doesn't know what it is like...maybe one day these men will grow up
