She has lodged herself right under my ribs, and apparently (I am guessing) has not dropped yet because I have had no relief in days (and you are suppose to get at least a little relief when baby drops.) This is causing severe pain/ discomfort in my ribs in the front and also my upper back on the right side where my ribs are from the back if that makes sense.

I honestly just want to cry because I am so uncomfortable and nothing seems to make her move away from that position.

I know I must be a horrible mummy but I have honestly been up and about all day long so that she will be sleepy in there and sleep because her moving makes my ribs feel like they are about to break.

How am I possibly going to do this for another 4 weeks owwww!

I have also been tested for basically every infection in the book and they have all came back clean and clear. Also liver seems to be functioning properly as well as kidneys (as far as we know.)

Anyone else been through this? What have you done for relief? I am about to go and have a date with the bottle of icy hot and a heating pad.

I'm afraid I don't have any advice, but I didn't want to read and run; my baby spent quite awhile lodged under my ribs, and it was definitely impossible to get comfy! I hope your LO shifts soon

i feel your pain hun, both my last two pregnancies neither of my little men dropped until i was in labour and my second son was born at 41 weeks and not engaged one single bit, makes it so uncomfortable doesnt it, rib kicks and lack of lung space!! i hope your baby drops a bit for you really soon xx
