What are "front waters?"

I have read a few threads where ladies say their "front waters" broke, but not their hind waters. Can anyone explain what this means in a little detail? Thanks!

The front waters are the ones that are bulging around the babies head down near your cervix.
The hind waters are from the back of the baby and may get a little tear in them causing them to leak. I think in both cases not everything will go as something stops the rest getting out (eg babies head blocking after your front waters and if your hind waters go, think about putting a little tear in the top of a water balloon, it would leak until lower than the tear and then may stop.
This is how I took the explanation from the midwife at my class last week but I could be wrong x x
