why am I still pregnant :((

Oh I'm soooo fed up now, never thought I would still be pregnant I always thought he'd be early. I have literally no more room in there, I can hardly eat a propper meal, sneeze or cough without it hurting and feeling like my belly button will pop open. I have got to 39 wks stretch mark free but now every day longer he's in there i seem to find another

even got a really strange big one in my groin and i haven't even given birth yet!! so depressed sorry for the moan but i need it

Ooh snap I feel the same 40+5 here I had no stretch marks till last week now loads under my bump, face is starting to swell was ok driving up until last week but now it's a real effort so feel virtually house bound and feel like I'm wasting my mat leave

Its horrible isn't it, we got this far with none and once overdue they appear its gutting! Have you been showing any signs at all then? Hopefully we won't be waiting much longer x

You poor things. I can totally sympathise as I was late with ds. The period past your due date is the hardest as you know you are in the final countdown but you can't do anything to speed it along.

My only suggestion is to keep busy and keep walking, if you can. It's also great fun to be out and about and to have someone ask you when you're due. The look on their face when you reply "2/3/4/5 days ago" is always priceless. They usually back away pretty quickly too!

Really hope that you ladies aren't kept waiting by your babies for much longer. Totally agree about trying to stay busy as it does pass the time, but it must be so hard to motivate yourself when you are feeling so crappy... Maybe unpack & repack your hospital bag?! Good luck, it REALLY won't be long now xxx

Ha ha ha this is true!!! A lady asked me in the shop yesterday when I was due her face was a picture when I said last Wednesday ha ha!!!!!
I re packed my hospital bag yesterday and the house has never been so clean!! I really do hate just doing nothing I'm a right fidget and can't stand not being able to do stuff!! Yesterday I was out in the garden sweeping leaves up oh went mad! So plan for today is do my nails and go and get the car washed! Then chill on the sofa with a magazine!
I've had absolutely no signs at all no loss of plug or anything, been having period style backache in the evenings for almost three weeks but that's all and baby has been engaged since week 34 ish and everyone told me " oh you won't last full term you will go early!!" yet here I am nearly one week over

Awww i really hope ur baby's come out soon, im hoping and prayer i don't go over because my SPD is so painful at the min and ive got 2 and a half - 3 weeks left (my dates 12th-16th Feb) xx

Keeping busy is definately good advice but I really just can't be bothered, today I wanna curl up under my quilt all day. No urge to clean or anything so that's not good cos apparently thats a sign n all i wanna do is laze about haha. I have been getting period type backache the last week or so too. Since starting this thread I'm sure I have lost some of my plug, not blood tinged or anything but definately fits the description of what itshould look like. Not getting my hopes up though x
