| Mum (Mom) Active BnB Member  Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Cobham, Surrey Posts: 692 | Im Home and Baby Has A Name!!!!! Now that he is asleep I have finally got 5 mins to get on here! We have decided to call him Oliver  Got home at about 8pm last night, and am shattered! lol Was quite an eventfull night. Got to hospital at about 1am was hooked up to the monitor, only to have contractions slow down, the Mw was talking about sending me up to the ward for the night. I asked her to examine me and I was still only 4cm, she offered to break my waters as I was "favorable" so of course I said yes!! lol She broke them at 3.30am and within minutes the contractions were back in full force! thank god for gas and air!  Mw went off to check on another lady and left us too it. The next thing I knew I was shouting to Dp to hit the alarm as I needed to push!!!!! 2 Mw's came running in and with 5 pushes baby was out! talk about fast! He was born at 4.20am, so not even an hour from waters being broken I went from 4cm to fully dilated! No complications, a few grazes. I think we were both in shock from the speed of the delivery though. I had the shakes for about 1/2 hour after. Spent the day on the maternity ward but couldnt wait to get home. He's Bf well (and constantly!!) and his big brother and sister adore him Thanks for all the messages and big thanks to Lollylou01 and Claralouise for keeping me sane whilst I was in Hospital xXx  |
