Yup, I get that too! When I first started having them, I would panic and would call L&D right away. They gave me this simple test to perform to check if my water did break or if it's something to be concerned about. They would ask me to drink water, take off my undies (basically, not wear anything under there), lay on the bed, on my left side, for about an hour. After 1 hour, walk around for about 5 minutes and if anything should trickle down my thighs, to call L&D right away. Also, they said amniotic fluid smells kind of like chlorine (or basically, how a pool smells like).

Thankfully, I 'passed' the test, and my regular u/s appointment showed normal amniotic fluid so I had nothing to worry about. I think what I have been having is more of a weak bladder, like you said. Really nasty when you think about it , but it's definitely preferable to leaking amniotic fluid!

But if it does happen often enough for you hun, and you're worried, it's always to best to call in your condition and get professional advice, just to be sure. Good luck hun!

I went to the hosp to get checked out re the exact same thing on Sunday as I was worried it might be amnio fluid as it's clear and odourless, anyway after a thorough exam inc an internal it turned out it wasn't my waters, so must be a bit of bladder weakness or watery discharge.

Best to get checked yourself out though........

maybe a good idea to get checked out. I don't want to freak you out but I did end up rupturing my waters and it was just this tiny trickle and WE (both LO and myself) ended up with infections because I didn't get checked out... It is unlikely that you would have the same issue but it might be a good idea to get checked.
