| Mum (Mom) BnB Elite  Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 14,567 | Second Sweep Not too much change since the first sweep, but thought I would update you girls.  Had my sweep at 2pm at the hospital. MW said I am still just 1cm dilated, not effaced any further, but that LO is very low down now and has engaged further which is a good sign. My back and bum have been so sore over the past few days, so I guess that's why! LO has also turned and isn't back to back anymore! She's still not in the correct position, but about halfway there. She's lying with her back facing my left hand side, and her front facing my right hand side with her head down in my pelvis. (if that makes sense) So she's done all that wriggling since Wednesday. I think I've decided to go ahead with my induction on Monday if this doesn't work. They've given me the option of pushing it back, but I'm getting so tired now I don't know how much longer I can manage. I'll see how I feel tomorrow though. |
