34 weeks measuring 29, someone tell me its ok :( *UPDATED pg 4*

so last week (33 weeks) i had my MW and she told me I was measuring 29 weeks, at 30 weeks id been measuring 29weeks aswell but was told that it wasnt such a big deal and that i was still in the healthy range

this morning i went back and i am still 29 weeks, so i have been measuring 29weeks for the past month

theyve booked me in for a scan tomorrow, it all seems a bit emergency to me, the way i got straight in tomorrow afternoon, im really scared that this means its something really bad and that i might lose my baby

someone please reassure me, im just sooo scared, i dont know wot to think

I hope everything's ok babe....you are only tiny frame by the look of you so hopefully that's why you seem to measure small

At least you don't have to wait long for the scan and they will be able to tell you a bit more tomorrow. Wait until your scan rather than worrying maybe unneccessarily sweetie

They could be worried that your amniotic fluid is low. The fundal height isn't very reliable though, there's been lots of girls on here who have measured small all throughout their pregnancies then given birth to beefy 8 or 9lb'ers.

It's hard to say exactly what it is off hand, it's good that you're going in for a scan though. I know it's stressful, and I hope everything turns out to be okay. Thinkin' of you!

My sister is exactly the same she had her midwife appointment last week (she was 34 weeks) and was still measuring 29 weeks - her bump just hasn't grown at all since then. She had a growth scan that showed if anything the baby is actually a bit bigger than it should be for her dates. I'm sure you'll be fine honey - but know it must be a worry

I have measured small all the way through and had growth scans from 30 weeks. The baby is small but she is following a nice curve on the centile charts. At my last midwife visit I was measuring 34 weeks and I was full term, 40+1.
Try not to worry hun......I am sure it will be absolutely fine!

I think they perscribe bed rest if your fluid is low. Your body will always produce more amniotic fluid, up until the day you give birth. Bed rest will help reduce how much you're losing, I think.

Granted, I could be wrong. I'm definitely not a doctor!
