Absent baby bump.... good or bad!!!

ok so I seem to be one of these women who dont have a bump (ok a vv small one sometimes) I have no idea where the baby is most of the time which is very strange.

On one hand its great because I am still pretty comfortable at night time sleeping and also dont have any heartburn, swelling etc.

If i did not feel the baby moving and know the uterus is growing etc I would almost think I was having some sort of phantom pregnancy.

On the other hand its wierd not having a bump everyone comments on it constantly... esp at work I only have until Jan 1st to work and everyone is like wow your going on mat leave so early but really its only 6 weeks before EDD.. although I am tired everyone in my life dont really treat you as being pregnant because you dont show.

Just wondered if there are any other mums out there who just look a bit fatter.. nothing else. And did you ever pop? I suspect this is it for me until I give birth. I feel as if I am missing out on something no baby bump to stroke and touch..

i'm sure you will get bigger yet, don't worry. Everyones body is different. My sister didn't have much of a bump until about 30 weeks but by the end she looked like she'd swallowed a whole watermelon!

I am 31 weeks and I have finally have people noticing my bump. They think I am only 4 months along instead of 7.

some people never show - I have a friend who had no idea she was pregnant, she was being treated for a grumbly appendix, not a pregnancy, and it wasn't until she went into labour that they realized all the indigestion, heartburn etc. was the baby - and she was like that with all her kids. She even still had periods...........
