| Mum (Mom) Active BnB Member  Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: devon england Posts: 176 | back from consultant (clicking joints) hi girls saw the consultant today about the clicking joints and a poss induction cos of my pelvic pain, he said he has experienced the clicking but its very rare and 9 out of 10 times baby is fine and its just due to baby being squashed, he also said it can sometimes be due CDH which is when the joints dislocate but they cant check that till after baby is born, so he said baby will be scanned soon after birth to check the joints are fine if not he would need to be in plaster  but he did stress it was very rare!he also said it can be very audible when babys click there joints depending on size and position so im glad it was'nt just my imagination!!! lol he also checked my bits and im happy to say im 3cm dilated already he said it was very soft and low and done a stretch and sweep !! he's booked me in for an induction on the 7th which is sun  in case i havent started by then but he seemed pretty sure id go into labour before then so it was a good day and either way i know im gonna meet my little man by the end of the week  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |
