TMI - difficulty with urine sample

for the past several weeks now, since I can't see anything much at all past my bump, when I have had to give a urine sample at the pre-natal check ups it is really tricky. I basically have had to just hope I'm holding the cup in the right place. Yuck.

So I usually end up peeing on my own hand. Gross. I have this new method.
I take two cups and a massive wad of toilet paper. Write my name on one cup and put that aside. Pee all over the other cup and my hand, so I quickly pour the wee into the clean cup and wrap up the wee-ed on one and don't touch anything or let any drips go anywhere. Then put the clean wee filled cup in that special cubby they have with my clean hand and then scrub up.

Quite a rigmarole. They must wonder what takes me so long.
Oh and the whole thing makes me huff and puff lots.

ITS RIDICULOUS.

Also, why when you are pregnant does the wee come out at all random angles???? GAH!

just thought I would share this charming information incase anyone else has had the same problem.

Bless ya!
I take a sample with me each appointment, here we are given a teeny tiny pot to pee in which we have to take home and rinse after each sample!!! (NHS cut backs I guess!)
So I do what you do at home, as in pee in a large cup (specifically kept for this reason only) and then transfer the wee into said tiny pot!

And I too have no idea why the pee comes out at ramdom angles either!

We have rather large pots to pee in thank goodness, so I just have to hold it down there and hope for the best!

I've just moved to a new doctors and they have really slim sample pots and I had the same trouble in that now I can't see I only managed to get a tiny little bit of wee in the pot!
