unsuccessful ecv now booked for a c section

hi all as the title says i had my ecv today and by god did it hurt didnt think it would hurt as much as it did then had to stop as i went white and was going to faint and vomit with the pain they did try 3 times tho so had a fair go at it so now this stubborn baby is now going to be born by c section and im booked in for tuesday 2nd december unless bubs decides it wants to come before then. so now im excited we finally have a date where bubs is going to be here

Thats awesome... not about the ecv not working, but about getting a definite date to meet your baby! You must be so excited

yeah i cant wait just glad the ecv is over i wouldnt advise any one to get it but thats just my opinion . i cant wait to meet bubs and finally see wot my yellow bump is and wether it is a big baby like they keep telling me. and it will be here before chrimbo too which will be lovely

It doesn't sound like the most pleasant experience! It will be really nice for you having the baby there before xmas! Do you have an inklings on what youre having?

i'm sorry it didnt work for you hun, they are very uncomfortable arent they, i wouldnt have another but i didnt want to scare you, i think babies are breech for a reason. and at least you know the end is in sight and you have been given a date,

owwww the ecv sounded awful - poor you

you're DEFFO having your baby in 1 week 1 day you must be so excited - thats my Due Date!!!!!! x x

well congrats that you have the date set for the c section. ECV doesn't sound very applealing to go through

Err...dumb question.
Whats an ECV? I'm in total denial over the birth process. I know an amazing amount of information on breastfeeding...

Sorry about it hurting so bad! At least there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Dec 2 isn't that far away!

pennysbored, it's where the baby is breech and they try to turn the baby head-down externally, it can really be painful...
