I had an ecv done at 37+2, but unfortunately it wasn't successful and she refused to budge! I found the ecv painful too, but I was willing to try anything to avoid a c-section. They attempted to turn her 3 times on the day, before booking my section for 2weeks time (ie at 39+2). I thought that was cutting it fine as I was due 5 days after that. I went into labour on the day anyway before the section, but it wasn't an emergency, they just did it earlier than planned.

Good luck with it and I hope it is successful for you x
