Anyone else find their baby is breaking their insides?

I'm in agonies! I'm fairly sure it's gut pain because the baby is squashing me and I can't function properly but nothing I do will relieve it. I've been squiffy for all this week with guts and nausea but this is ridiculous! Can hardly eat I feel so sick and can hardly stand because of the pain. I'm pretty certain it's not labour pain though! lol

Any suggestions for relieving gut pains when you can't do any of the normal stuff because of bump?

I guess it's possible it could be a bug but I've no temperature and don't feel like it's a bug.

I had this on Saturday night, and ended up being as sick as a dog! I took some big swigs from my trusty Gaviscon bottle and that seemed to help.

It's just all too hard! My gut ache is progressing at an alarming rate. Either I'm going into labour tomorrow or I really do have a horrid bug...

YES! last night I could actually feel a little foot right up against my STERNUM!!! I was saying to OH - how on earth is that possible??? It's no wonder I have the most horrendous heartburn and feel so sick and can hardly breath - my diaphram and stomach must be completely squished. I feel totally squashed on the inside and I even had a weird weird dream that the baby was kicking my head, FROM THE INSIDE! LOL!

I've had some pretty painful episodes too, but I know it is not a bug as eventually he will move and the pain instantly goes. But I've had dead legs and all sorts. And it is impossible to eat and I'm on the loo every five minutes and it is very hard not to be mega grumpy.

The only thing I have found helps is to actually try to get him to move off of the painful bits by gently prodding and rubbing. Sometimes it works, but a lot of the time it doesn't and I've even been in tears with the discomfort.

I think we just have to give ourselves license to have a good old moan really.

It will all be worth it though.

Just thought - what sort of pain is it and where? Because I and my mum both suffer from intestinal spasms during pregnancy and it feels like a really painful stitch. It's just where the uterus (baby) is pressing.

But if you think it is a bug you might ought to call the mw and see what she says.

I think my LO has dropped right down now so I'm not getting this. though as it sounds really horrible.

I don't know what LO did last night, but I assumed she rolled over or something and it was so sore I had tears in my eyes.

I'm fairly confident it's pain like you get with trapped wind, only enormously worse and not shifting. No position I try will move the baby from squashing my gut. Had similar but not as bad a few weeks ago when baby first went head down. My runs are getting runnier (sorry!) and DH is feeling bit iffy too so I'm beginning to suspect a bug is the most likely explanation, at least for how much worse I am today. I'm not worried about LO. I don't have a temp and it'll pass soon enough if that's the case.
