my 'coke' addiction!!

I'm craving load of coca cola - how bad is it for the baby? I know its got lots of caffine in it, more than coffee or so i've heard. Trying to limit myself to a can per day (not every day though). I've just bought a six pack and already wanting a second! Its just so lovely and cold, sweet and fizzy!

I never usually drink it at all - I NEED it at the moment!

I didn't know you could get caffine free coke! Will have a look for some - though if its gross (like diet) i'll be back to my old ways!

Fizzy drinks will give you more sugar and the more sugar you get, the bigger baby you will have. I am a coke addick myself and now im suffering as my blood sugar is very high. I am deprive of COKE (and any other fizzy drinks) and sweets. I will go for my blood test tomorrow. Hopefully it's alright. I have to go walking as well and i find it very hard now as my tummy is so big and i get a lot of braxton hicks... Try and minimize the coke craving (if you can) if not, try the coke zero. Goodluck!

i was on a root beer 'binge' the past week...couldnt get enough of the stuff!

I'm really into Coke too, especially if I feel a bit crappy. And I'm finding it tastes sooooo much nicer out of a can than out of a plastic bottle. But glass bottled is the best

Having a can day will be fine and is way under the daily caffiene guidelines so don't worry! You can get caffiene free coke, but only in a diet version which to me tastes like poo, I have to have the full fat version!

i dont think the caffeine is as dangerous as the aspartame is, i wouldnt worry too much though, just drink loads of water to balance it out maybe?

I was really addicted to Pepsi Max but I've had to fight the urge as it has aspartame in it and that's worse than the full sugar version of Pepsi. but i do still crave that cold, sweet, fizzy goodness! Oh my days! I want one now!

You can have up to 8 cans a day of caffine. You may notice some side effects though. I was drinking about a can a day until I started to get palpitations, pins and needles, sweats, etc and my MW told me to cut out caffine. Don't think that's the norm though.
