No you won't look silly, the amount of times i thought i was in labour, just wait and see how you go, if they get pretty regular and gradual closer then its probably it!!

DOn't know if i missed it but will you get your home birth? x

My labor didn't properly start until my waters broke. I had mild period like cramping for a few days leading up to Hannah's birth, but nothing bad and she never did engage so I never felt any kind of pressure. Even after I lost my plug and my waters broke it took a few hours for the contractions to properly start. Sorry probably not much help. Hope things happen for you soon

You can insist on getting a MW out to you, even if they have suspended the CMWs. Just phone the labour ward and tell them that you ARE HAVING a home birth and that they need to send someone out. My labour started with period pains that got worse to the point where I couldn't sleep. At some point I noticed that the pains had started coming regularly and that's when I woke OH up.

morning hun, getting so excited reading through your post! I hope they pick up again for you, like marley said if you phone the labour ward and tell them your having a homebirth they are obiged to send someone out even if you haven't booked in properly (according to homebirth.org anyway) Ooooh I hope this is it for you hun!
