Eating

Hi all,
Just wondering how well everyone eating, just seen consultant and told me i should be drinking at least a litre of milk a day. Lots of protein foods etc.
Have to admit my diet hasn't been that great and now i feel bad that its the reason my baby is growing slowly.
Feeling bad now, i wouldn't say diets appaling just not masses, as don't really have a huge appetite and only feel bloated after a big meal.
Is everyone super healthy?
Thanks
x

I think you've been misinformed babe and you'll be the size of a house by the end of your pregnancy if you drink a litre of milk everyday....are you sure she didn't say a pint

I eat crap too. Since my nausea set in at 6 weeks I've not been able to stomach a lot of foods so my meals have seriously lacked variety and nutrition but never mind! Why have you been advised to drink so much milk? It seems extraordinary!

At the moment my appetite is huge! If it isn't nailed down, it gets eaten around here! I haven't been drinkinkg a lot of milk though as not a big fan, and don't really eat much dairy either, should I take a supplement or something?

My doc told me to drink at least 4 large glasses of milk a day. Luckily I love milk during this pregnancy but couldnt be bothered with it before. As for food, I eat several small meals a day to lessen bloating. No chance of eating junk with hubby around, I have to sneak a bar or chips.

i have been eating well, but have a tiny appetite, and have gone off junk food, yes, i know, it's usually the opposite when expecting!

Are you all taking a multi-vitamin? That would help!
