| Pregnant (Expecting) Chat Happy BnB Member  Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Lincolnshire Posts: 1,270 | We Have Progression Well a couple of days ago I mentioned in the Dec mum's thread that i'd been suffering from period pain style cramps for a little while, then yesterday I had my bloody show. Well earlier on today I started getting definite contractions - I've had Braxton hicks for a while now and these were nothing like those. So I called my midwife and she said to call back if they got into a pattern because they were so irregular (15mins, then 8mins, then 10mins and so on). They're coming every 10mins or so now so we're sort of getting there. I'm not getting my hopes up too much, but I called the labour ward anyway and they said to go in if they get down to 5mins apart lasting a minute, my waters go or I can't cope with the pain anymore. Fingers crossed ladies! Oh and my MW said not to worry about me not being full term yet because of mine and baby's size everything should be okay. EEEEK!  |
