Anyone had any success with Bio-oil?

Ive been using Bio-oil since about 16 weeks now and not been putting it on twice a day like it says on the directions.I seem to have been lucky enough not to have any stretch marks at the minute. My OH has advised me to now use it twice a day every day as ive only got nearly 7 weeks left now until Wiggles is born.Is it that Bio-oil does work or have i just been lucky?Just wondered what everyone elses thoughts are on Bio-oil is? The only stretch marks i have are a few tiny ones on my inner thigh that have been there for a few years.

its worth it! its keeping mine away so far (touch wood) and is really fading the ones i do have..
Did you know if you dont rub t in twice a day you can put a few drops in the bath and thats just as effective as rubbing it in

I don't think it works at actually preventing them, but it does work at fading them. I've been slathering myself with it non-stop and my stretchies are starting to fade out from a deep purple to light pink.

I have hope for bio-oil yet!! I have plans to drown my skin in it as many times a day as I can handle after Meredith gets here!

I've been using shea butter - although not everyday, just when I remember - the Palmers 'tummy butter' (started with the lotion, and moved to the butter) and so .... *touches a forests worth of wood* the stretchies haven't got me.

Not sure if it worked or if I wasn't going to get them anyway. But my Mum had them and I got them as a teenager so I was assuming I'd get them.

The Palmers Cocoa butter smells so yummy!

I'll admitt, I got sick of applying anything to my tummy, I get bored with things like that too quickly and I've got no real stretch marks (touch wood!!!) and I'm due in 6 days.
