Back from specialist after raised GTT reading

Well, after worrying for a week.......................

They were not concerned just want to keep a check on things, so will monitor my bloods for 2 weeks and have a growth sccan at 32+4.

Then, they took my blood to check it against a "normal" reading and it was 5.2. It should be between 5 and 6......................????
She said this is a good reading..............so why do i have a problem??

I suppose it's good that they are montoring me, but kind of scared the crap out of me and its not THAT bad!!!

Your glucose may fluctuate - thats why you had a high reading before and a normal one today. They need to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't fluctuate too much. Sounds like you should be ok though hunx x
