Castor Oil..

Is it actually safe to use? Im thinking about it, as horrible as it may be. But it does say not recommended in pregnancy? But i know a few of you ladies have used it.

Should i go for it or not?!

i used it with rosie and my waters broke 12 hrs later. but research has suggested it may cause baby to poo meconium inside the womb which is dangerous if inhaled and swallowed, but it could all be coincidences. don't think anyone knows for sure if it was castor oil that causes labour to begin or it would have anyway.
many years ago mw's used as routine along with ememas.
but as research has come along its not advised,
if i'd have known this 14 yrs ago i wouldnt have taken the risk...and this time i won't be touching the stuff.
i think in moderation it may give you the trots but if you drink alot it ive you really bad trots.
its upto at the end of the day how desparate your feelin
xx good luck xx
ps it tastes like thick veg oil as well lol so beware
