3 Hours!!!!

Is how long my consultant appointment was today! I saw one consultant, 2 anetheatists and 2 midwives!!!

On a good note it was really informative. I know now that should I need an emergency section they will do it with a spinal block so I dont have to have a General, and I cant have Epi.

I am now looking at having a water birth, which they are very much up for. Will take in some Jack Johnson CDs and lounge around in the pool, and hopefully have a chilled out natural birth. And also we are going to go as long as possible with induction, so after 10 days overdue they will just monitor me closely so make sure all is okay.

Was also shicked when they went through the evens of my first labour and birth, she said I did extreamly well to push Noah out by myself last time, saying that the cord was apparently wrapped round his neck which I didnt know. Also it says in the notes that I had an episiotomy which I didnt even know!!!! I knew they stiched me a little afterwards but I thought its cause I had a little tear! So for anyone scared of having to be cut, dont worry cause I didnt even know it happened!!!
