my god its just awful, are allowed to just take normal heartburn medicines like gaviscon?

Yeah Gaviscon is fine, I've been living off it for the last week for reflux.

If its bad like mine though, it might not work. It helps me for like 10 minutes then its back

I only get it late in the evenings and take 1 tums which works... Mine isnt too bad though.

Yes Gaviscon or Rennies are fine to take. I've had quite bad reflux lately, and I find the best thing are Rennie soft chews, as they're not as chalky like the normal tablets, and I'm no good with liquid medicines. Hope it eases up soon for you hun.

Yeah Gaviscons fine hun. Try to eat little and often as it tends to calm down a bit if you don't have any big meals.

Instead of buying it ask your midwife and you should be able to get it FREE!! i have 500ml bottles of it from my doctors. They should be able to give you a prescription for it.

I've had indigestion and acid reflux throughout pregnancy but it's been awful for the last week or so

I take rennie tablets or gaviscon and have had 3 big bottles of gaviscon free from my doctors which is great as it's usually quite expensive.

Milk can help sometimes too
