Well had my 40+4 appointment today and i was dreading it......

I woke up this morning after 2 hours sleep and just couldn't stop crying, im in so much pain and i knew at my appointment today i would be told the last week has been worth nothing and i wouldnt have progressed any more....

Well went to appointment and got in and suprise suprise its the wicked witch midwife all i need.... and she started with the normal

Urine- Fine
BP- 150/73
Then she measured my fundal height and its still only 35cm (been this for 4 weeks) so she looked a bit concerned and said i should have a scan AGAIN...so booked one in for friday

Then she said how you are you (i was in shock she normally never asks) so i said im having a hard time but trying to grin and bare it.....but im in so much pain with me hips and because of this and the contractions im only getting 2 hours broken sleep a night and basically a walking zombie....

Her response "you do look a bit crap" - THANKS lol

So anyway tells me to drop me pants its time for the internal....so on the bed i get spread me legs and because im so so tired just dont give a fuck......so she does the normal and yeah i was right still 2cm-3cm dialted. Cervix very soft and forward but no further....so she finishes and i get up get dressed and feel even worse.....

So we sit and she says well this is your last appointment here next time you gotta go to the hospital day unit.....went to book an appointment and books me in for the 3rd of OCTOBER!!! bang on 2 weeks overdue and thats not even for an inductions its for an examination and a sweep and to book my induction!!!
So that was it i just burst into tears......i couldnt take it anymore.....so she puts her arm around me and tels me it will be "ok".....i just replied "your not the one sitting exhausted in pain and being told you still have 10 days before your booked in!!!"

So she looks at the clock and says "how quick can you get undressed??" i just looked at her....she said "if you can jump on the bed now ill give you a sweep....im not ment to but for someone who is so happy to cry so hard right now is not right".....needless to say ive never striped and got my *WOHOO* out so quick not even for kyle. So she gave me a sweep and told me she would stop when it hurt....well i just gritted and bared it and told her it was fine....just so i got the MAX out of it....so she said give it 48hrs to see if successful and if not then ill just have to wait until me appointment on the 3rd of october....unless the scan on friday doesnt go to plan then ill be induced early.....

SO I went in feeling like a bag of shit and came out skipping.... So fingers crossed ladies that it does something for me in the next 48 hours....im not feeling anything right now.....so im not putting to much on it....but hopefully it will XxxX
