My LO was head down at 28wks and then was breech at 32wks. There is plenty of time yet hun. My midwife is seeing me again at 36 wks as that is when she said that decisions need to be made. My son suddenly turned breech and back again at 36 wks though.

They definately still can turn after 28w, the doctors usually dont start getting concerned here until 34w.

Plenty of time Suzan, don't worry. At 28 weeks your baby has loads of room to turn somersaults and stuff. Babies can turn to head down quite late - even as much as a couple of weeks before birth (and if they are still breech late on, the doctors can try and turn them). It is more unusual for a head down baby to go to being a breech baby later on as the head weighs more.

I am sure everything will be fine.

my friend's baby turned the day before she was scheduled for a c-section. 39 weeks I think. He turned by himself too

There's plenty of time for your l/o to turn yet. Has your midwife expressed any concern?x
