I'm Currently Feeling: | I didn't have one....and I don't know anyone who has. Its not the norm over here to have a baby shower but some people have started because of American influence.... |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Yes, work are holding me one in October. They wouldn't takeno for an answer, but I'm really looking forward to it now!!!
They're not doing it like an traditional American one - it's more like an excuse for the girls to say a quick goodbye to me. We just held one for a colleague and all we did was get together, eat lots of food and chat all night. There wasn't tonnes pf presents - they did a small hamper and gave the rest of the money in vouchers, so that she could choose the things she wanted. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I haven't had one, I know what you mean - feels all too cheeky, like you are inviting people and they are obliged to buy you something! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Yeh, work organised one when I left. I was dreading it, thought it'd be really cheesy but it was nice and they bought almost everything i needed for baby. I felt so embarrassed and spoilt. I would be mortified organising one for myself. I know what you mean.... Maybe your friends will surprise you? x |
