I'm Currently Feeling: | My friend asked me to organise one for her and I agreed before I was pregnant myself back in May. I'm doing it this Sunday, she will be 36+5, I will be 17+3. She loves all things American and is a big 'Friends' & 'S*x in the City Fan' so she is really looking forward to something similar to the shows for herself.
Its costing me a fortune and its a lot of hard work. Basically she gave me a list of who she wanted there and I've had to do the rest... The irony is I would really hate one for myself so if she offers to return the favour then I will have to say no! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Mine is tomorrow, but combined with my 21st. Not keeping with the traditional american theme of it all though, and doubt playing games, except my piniata, more of a chin wag, and lots of advice. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | My friends threw one for me last friday, was great fun, presents weren't expected from anyone but I got a lovely nappy cake that one of my friends made, some baby clothes and a lovely voucher for me to pamper myself at a spa. They had organised games and nibbles, oh and plenty alcohol for them! Finally kicked everyone out at 0130 am! x |

| I didn't have what I would call a baby shower in the sense that the Americans have them but on my last day at work before I started maternity leave my work colleagues had hired out the main meeting room and laid on lunch and gave me gifts but it wasn't all baby stuff, I had a few baby out fits/blankets etc but most gifts were pampering products for me, shower gel/bath bombs and lotions etc. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm having one tomorrow! Everyone makes them out to be so fun and great, but in reality they're just a lot of stress and embarassment, and most people dread going to them. Here, anyway.
You aren't supposed to throw it for yourself though, that's rude. Usually a friend or family member throws it for you.
I just want to get it over with to tell you the truth. |
