Went to see the midwife today got to see a stand in who was lovely and much nicer than my usual midwife. Well anyway all went well baby is still head down and 3/5th engaged woop my blood pressure was 133/75 is that normal i have no idea lol? But anyways she said she wont see me now for another 2 weeks and gave me an appointment for the 2nd oct when my due date is 3rd oct i thought you got an appointment once everyweek for the last few weeks? Do i phone back and book myself in for next week and be cheeky lol?

Not sure about you're area but here it is a weekly appointment after you reach 37 weeks! Probably should call and check especially if she was a stand in. Maybe she got the weeks wrong...

My BP was 132/78 last week and I was told that this was good so I think yours is okay as well.

I go for my next one tomorrow (38 weeks)....

I was told that I'd be seen in a fortnight which would have made me 39 weeks and 4 days. MW said it was routine in our area. Ended up getting an appointment this thursday at 38 and 4 days as i've swelled up. If everything is fine it would have been two weeks here but if you feel like you need to be seen weekly I'd definitely call and ask for one.

Here we get appointments every week from 35 weeks on. I would call and book one yourself.

Dont forget its not your first baby. I've waited 3 wks between my last one and my next on tuesday coz its my second baby. They try to see you once a fortnight here but they are so busy you sometimes have to wait a bit longer. My MW did say if I had any concerns in between, then just to ring and they'd see you.
