What does yours measure???

I was just reading through the newspapers on line and found this...

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/ar...ppers-too.html - (you may have to copy and paste in or look in the Femail section of the Daily Mail)

Im terrified of having a humungous baby and have eaten sooo much in this pregnancy even in the first tri as it stopped me feeling sick.

Anyway she says in this article that she measured 60 inches accross towards the end. I just randomly found a tape measure did mine and im 48inches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will anyone else do theirs!?

I really dont want a massive baby but I was 10 stone 2 (size 12) before I got preggers and now Im......(running upstairs to weigh) 13 stone 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YIKES!

I just leave the measuring to the professionals.

According to my growth scans they've said I'm looking at about around 9lbs mark.

I was 9stone5 when I fell pregnant and now I'm 14stone1. Haven't particularly gorged on anything either, so I dunno. The OH eats more than me

I reckon your body just hoards fat as soon as you look at a cake your body thinks yoink i'll take that 10lbs ha ha ha!! I'm eating sooooooooo much less than i used to (i eat like a normal person and not for 20 like i used to when i COULD) and the lbs just stack up ha ha!! I've given up caring though nothing you can do to stop it.

Yea i got told i was having a porker of a baby at my scan.. the women was like ooooh look at its chubby cheeks he he he!!

You sound to have put on the perfect amount of weight. I was 11 st 3 and I'm 13st 13 now. I'm measuring (fundal not across) 38cm so roughly 2 weeks ahead. I dont think you can use an across measurement - it will depend on the lie of the baby.

My fundal height was spot on last time i was measured (due again tomorrow) so assuming i'm 31cm ish. You really can't measure across the bump though as it's not realistic, those with football bumps would measure differently to those carrying all round,, and i was fat before i fell pregnant so i'd expect the baby plus the fat i already had to make my across measurment to be mahooosive msl:

I've just had mine done today and it was 27cm. I'm exactly on the average line of my predicted growth curve. If I stay on it baby should be about 3.75kg (whatever that is in normal units).
