I'm Currently Feeling:  | Help with real contractions
Just wondering from those who have experienced it...what they felt like?
I've been getting cramps for past 10 hours now and they seem to be getting worse the last one i had REALLY hurt like period pains but way worse!
Could these be contractions?
Also i started getting these after a very tight bump while in the bath...i felt some movement 'down there' and was thinking it might be my waters...
I'm gonna call my ward later today to see what they think but before i do i wanna make sure so i dont look like an idiot

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Tightenings and pain in the lower abdomen and back. I think that everyone experiences them differently so this may not apply to you but in a way they felt like the skin around my lower bump was being pulled either side really hard so with the pain came a small sort of burning pain. It is hard to discribe.
If you are getting a tight bump and pains then it could be it. You are right in phoning your ward and haing it checked, a monitor will tell whether they are contractions xxx

I'm Currently Feeling: | The pains I'm getting now are getting more frequent now timing them to see if theres a pattern. And if they get worse I'm gonna call my ward up! Thanks guys!

See if they are getting into a pattern - thats another distinction between BH and the real thing. When your waters go you will know about it - Its a massive gush and waaaaaay more than you can ever wee!!!

I'm Currently Feeling:  | It def sounds like your in early labour to me. The only way i decided i was in labour was that i couldnt possibly been in this much pain and not be in labour. I also had my bloody show the night before.
To me they were just really really strong period pains which get stronger in the contraction if that makes sense. Then it goes & you get a break till the next one. Also a little bit of lower back pain. Good luck!! |
