I'm Currently Feeling:  | Induction (this is it!) *UPDATE*
Well this is it, tomorrow (monday-though I guess it's already monday over in the UK lol) is my induction. I'm only 4 days over tomorrow, but my LO is on the big side so they want to induce me now. We have to get up and call in at 6am to find out when we are going in, but I doubt I'll be on the computer any time soon. So I wanted to wish good luck to everyone who's over-due and due soon. Lots of labor dust for you all!
***UPDATE***
So they have WiFi in the hospital! They started me off 14 hours ago and I'm almost 4cm dilated and so far all is going well. I held out on the epidural for a while but it became to painful to manage. The getting the epidural was awful but the results are great. I took a nice two hour nap and since everything is going slowly I have been able to eat some saltines and italian ices. Which was great because I was starving. It will probably be another 6+ hours before I meet my little lumpy, so its a waiting game now. She is big and "sunny-side-up" so there is a higher chance of me ending up with a c-section, but if that's what my LO needs to get out then I'll deal. Keep your fingers crossed for me to have a vaginal birth! I'll add my birth story with lots of pics when I have a chance. Good luck to the rest of you ladies in third tri!  |
