I'm sure bubs has just quientened down a bit as you're so close to your due date now. Maybe things are going to start happening for you soon! Fingers crossed! But please don't worry about calling the hospital if you're still worried, that's what they're there for.

Donna hunnie should have text me babe I hope you are ok, my baby has slowed down abit still getting my 10 movements but not as many as before, try choc, coke freezing cold works really well, mc flurry hehe, and if all worried get your butt down to the antenatal day assessment unit to be monitored they dont mind at all that you go down there and it would ease your mind, I dod it when I was sick ages ago I hadnt felt bub move and as soon as they put that tight belt around my belly there she was kicking with full force I was so relieved I cried my eyes out

Some days my baby is like this too, and no matter how many times I poke or jiggle my belly or drink cold water, she just doesn't move much. I think she tires herself out and spends some days relaxing and growing.

Hey it's most likely fine! Mine has really quiet days, I think they slow down alot towards this stage cos they are running out of room and getting into a position for birth.
Or it could be how they are lying, your LO could be booting hell out of your placenta and you wont feel that!

If you are really still worried though I would call your hospital or MW and they will take you in to get monitored, and put your mind at ease xxxxx let us know how you get on xxxx

Hi, my MW said to call if it slowed down a lot from day to day. While she said, it is normal as they just don't have the space and you'd tend to just feel movement from side to side either under the ribs or above the pelvis rather than jabs and kicks like before but that I should call if I felt any worry at all!

Give a call - it couldn't hurt!

Good luck! and let us know what happens!

Id always call hospital or midwife when your worried hun, even if you think it will sound stupid or your over reacting. The same thing happend to me and i left it allday.. tryed to sleep but couldnt because i was waiting and waiting for baby to move and he still didnt. The next morning he still wasnt moving so i founded hospital.. When i said how long i hadnt felt much movement for they said i shouldnt of left it all night i should of gone in the day before! They put me on a monitor for an hour and baby was fine. But they were so lovely and didnt mind. They said they really dont mind how many times you go in or phone.. thats what they are there for!
