mucus plug?

Just wondering for those who have had theirs out..what did it look like?
I think mine has came out but im not too sure...
It was kinda white creamish and the size of a 20p...didn't have any blood in it at all. I did have a sweep yesterday and my MW said expect one.
It doesn't always have to be redish does it?
Thanks

Could be, or it could just be heavy discharge. I have heard the plug described as clear jelly, snot coloured, or blood stained. Not sure about creamy coloured.

Don't worry too much either way, the plug can come away ages before labour starts. Also you can go into labour without losing the plug. So it doesn't really matter if its the plug, or not, if you know what I mean.

Thinking labour vibes for you xxxx

a plug does not have to be pinky brown or have blood in it, mine was just the size of maybe a 50p and clear jellish a bit like snot tmi sorry hope this helps but i had lots of what ur describing just before i lost my plug x

I started a thread about this a couple of weeks ago cos like you i am totally confused by this!!!
I read in a pregnancy mag, that it looks like uncooked egg white, which is what I have been getting. But then someone said that your mucus plug is different from your show and that confused me even more! Apparently your show is the one that could be blood stained..... So, I am none the wiser! Sorry!
