I'm Currently Feeling: | What do they feel like? Hi,
I keep seeing threads on braxton hicks, and I'm not sure I've had any - until last night when I kept getting slight period like cramps, lasting a few minutes at a time then going off and coming back again about 10 minutes later. Is this braxton hicks? I've not had any other type of pain so wasn't sure!
Thanks |

| I'm on the same boat as you, I dont feel anything but sometimes just a lil pang but it could so easily go unnoticed. I've felt my tummy go rock hard but i dont get any pains with it, so presumably that is it. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Me too! I haven't really had any pains unless I've walked too much or been sitting/lying in the same position for a while. I'm terrified, I'm going to go into labour and not have a clue | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I was the same at my appointment yest, lying there, doc says oh your having contraction, a Braxton Hick, I'm like ......................... I don't feel anything! It;s the tightening on the Belly (thanks Mervs Mum), but some people do get more pain or discomfort with them. Sounds like you could be having the good ole BH's x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Lots of tightening in the stomach and for myself a very unconfortable pain goes with it. You can tell you're having them when your tummy is hard as a rock. |

| I have been getting them for a while and I would describe them as a tightening across all or part of your abdomen and for me it starts almost up in my chest. It makes my pulse thump quite hard and I also go quite hot. The discomfort kind of spreads round to my back after that. It isn't really pain, more of a slight cramping sensation and if I try to sit up during one, I find it quite difficult. It's a good opportunity to practice any breathing techniques you have learnt at your classes though! x |
